How to subscribe

If you are a Tibetan, a subscription to Tibet Times is a must in order to keep current on all the news emerging from the seat of the Tibetan Government In-Exile (Dharamsala, India). If you are not a Tibetan, please consider giving a gift subscription to a Tibetan friend, especially a young person and/or subscribing yourself. By doing so, you will help support a free press for Tibetans everywhere and assist in fostering democracy in the Tibetan community.

Our subscribers reside in India, Nepal, Bhutan, United States, Canada, England, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, France, Hong Kong, Belguim, Holland, Australia, Japan, China, Taiwan, and even Tibet.

Most subscribers are located in India in the following areas:
Himachel Pradash, Delhi, Mundgod, Hunsur, Kollegal, Byllakuppe, Maharashtra, Mainpat, Chandigarh, Uttar Pradash, Leh, Orissa, Sikkim, Arunachal, Pradash, Mussoorie, and Clement Town.

Most subscribers are male, married, over 25 years old, earning 1000-5000 Rs per month, and well educated (70% 10th Standard; 20% 12th Standard). Their families are comprised of 5 members including 3 children (ages10-20 years old). An increasing growing number of our subscribers are Tibetan college students.

A large number of the subscribers are Monks, Nuns, Farmers, Government Workers, Students, and Shop Keepers. Most of the subscribers shop at a local market every weekend and on Mondays.
