Bod-kyi-dus-bab relies upon funds raised through contributions from organizations and individuals like yourself. With initial funding from private donors, we have been able to set up an office. Because we are a non-profit organization and our readership base is still growing, we are unable, however, to cover all our operational expenses, resulting in our continued reliance on the support of generous individuals and organizations. We respectfully request, therefore, your support and assistance. The following are some ways you can support us:

Subscribe to Bod-kyi-dus-bab.
The annual subscription rate for India is Rs.150, for Nepal and Bhutan is Indian Rupees 200, and US $45 for other countries (36 issues, shipping included).

Sponsor subscriptions for Tibetan children.
We believe it is critical that Tibetan young people keep abreast of the news in the Tibetan community and that they develop the habit of reading a Tibetan newspaper. Because of this, we have made the newspaper available to Tibetan youngsters at a significantly reduced rate. You can help us cover the costs of this effort by contributing US $100 per year. This will make it possible for us to distribute the newspaper to 30 Tibetan youngsters each year. Obviously, a larger contribution will result in more Tibetan youngsters receiving the newspaper.

Sponsor subscriptions for Tibetans in Tibet.
We strongly believe it is essential and urgent that Tibetans in Tibet receive current news about all Tibet related activities inside and outside Tibet. This is also important to encourage and support democratic principles and values in Tibet. To accomplish this, we have covered the cost of sending each issue of the newspaper to select persons in Tibet. Now, we want to greatly expand the number of individuals in Tibet who receive the newspaper. For a contribution of US $100, we will be able to send the equivalent of 30 new subscriptions per year into Tibet. Obviously, a larger contribution will result in more Tibetans in Tibet receiving the newspaper.

Sponsor the printing of one issue.
By sponsoring the printing of one issue of Bod-kyi-dus-bab you are ensuring that the newspaper will be published. To print 8 pages the cost is US $250.

Become a friend of Bod-kyi-dus-bab.
An annual donation of US $200 will enlist you as a friend and supporter of promoting democracy and a free press in the Tibetan society. In appreciation of your support, we will send you a subscription to our newspaper.

Sponsor a member of the office staff.
By donating US $1100 you are ensuring that a member of our crucial staff is adequately compensated for their time and dedication to Bod-kyi-dus-bab. Your donation will go directly to a member of our staff as their annual salary. Most of our staff earn $1100 per year.

Help us purchase equipment.
Financial contributions to help us purchase the following would be greatly appreciated: Professional 35mm Camera, Digital Videocamera, Shortwave Radio with Recording Capabilities, Laptop computers, and Photograph Cabinet.

Other financial contributions.
A general financial donation will be greatly appreciated and used to cover printing and other operational expenses.

Advertise in Bod-kyi-dus-bab.
You can place an advertisement in Bod-kyi-dus-bab and/or on the website at a very nominal rate. Special discounts are available for job vacancies and sponsorship/scholarship applications.

Contribute scholarly materials.
You can also help us establish a reference library by contributing such materials as encyclopedias, world atlases, and books. Additionally, we could benefit from subscriptions to periodicals and journals that provide reliable coverage of Tibetan issues. These reference sources will help us to publish a more informed and reliable newspaper. -
